The Wonders of: Spinach

There’s a reason Popeye at so much spinach and was so strong afterward. Spinach is a wonderful green that is packed with nutrients. In fact, spinach is ranked number one in healthiest vegetabels [source]. Spinach is high in magenese, folate, vitamins a & k and iron among numerous others {which makes it a great food for pregnant women or women trying to get pregnant}. Spinach also has anti-imflammatory properties, protects against cardiovascular problems, bone problems and certain types of cancer.

Basically, spinach is awesome for you and you should eat it as much as possible. Here’s the problem though, a lot of people aren’t sure how to increase their intake of spinach. Spinach salad is delicious but not exactly exciting for day to day consumption. I’ve compiled a list of recipes that include spinach that are not only tasty but very healthy for you.
