Low Carb Snacks

I don’t know about you, but I love to snack. In fact, right now I’m thinking about a snack and I just had one! I used to snack on cookies and brownies, but these days I snack on sugar free jello, veggies, nuts and protein bars. Just because you are on a low carb diet does not mean that you can’t snack. You just have to be smart about it.

Here are a few snacks to curb your hunger and satisfy your cravings.


Hard Boiled Eggs

Sugar Free Jello with Whipped Cream

Green or Red Peppers with salsa

Low Carb/High Fiber bread with Peanut butter

1/2 Fiber One Protein Bars

1/2 Quest Protein Bar

Greek Yogurt {Light and Fit is my favorite, because it has low sugar, check your labels}

String Cheese

Celery and Hummus

Small Apple with Almond or Peanut Butter


Coffee with Almond Milk and Stevia {or if you prefer, splenda}

Blackberry and Strawberry medley

Kale Chips

  1. Great list! I rely on all of these to get by on low-carb. When I get bored of regular string cheese, I buy pepper jack cheese and wrap it in deli meat or top it with pate. It really holds you.
